The Carson LA28 Olympic Youth Committee is a youth-focused community initiative designed to connect Carson's young people with opportunities leading up to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Through leadership development, education, sports, technology, career exploration, workforce development and community engagement, the initiative will help prepare Carson youth to participate in—and benefit from—the opportunities surrounding LA28.
WHO CAN GET INVOLVED?
Ages 14–17 — Youth Participants
Leadership development, career exploration, educational opportunities, sports, technology and community service.
Ages 18–24 — Young Adult Participants
Workforce development, internships, career pathways, leadership opportunities, professional development and LA28-related opportunities.
Adults 25+ — Mentors & Community Partners
Parents, educators, professionals, businesses and community leaders interested in mentoring, supporting or creating opportunities for Carson youth.
