Building a Carson Where Opportunity Has a Zip Code

My vision for Carson is simple: a city where every resident has an opportunity to thrive, every neighborhood matters, and city government works with the community—not apart from it.

I envision a Carson that invests in its young people, creates pathways to education and careers, supports working families and local businesses, and builds stronger neighborhoods. We must expand opportunities in healthcare, technology, skilled trades, entrepreneurship, and other careers so our young people can build their futures right here in Carson.

I want to help create safer, cleaner, and stronger neighborhoods, while advancing practical solutions to homelessness and housing challenges. That means strengthening partnerships among residents, businesses, nonprofits, schools, and government to connect people with housing, employment, supportive services, and pathways toward stability.

I also believe Carson must protect and invest in the places that bring our community together—our parks, recreation programs, infrastructure, and public spaces—while making city services more responsive and accountable to residents.

Most importantly, I want residents to have a meaningful voice in the future of their neighborhoods. Government should listen before it acts, bring people to the table, and measure success by results.

This is the Carson I see: a city that creates opportunity, develops its young people, supports its neighborhoods, strengthens its economy, and brings people together to solve problems.
