The Friends of Haskell campaign is committed to practical leadership that listens to residents, brings people together, and turns community priorities into action.
Our vision for Carson is built around five priorities:
1. YOUTH & CARSON NEXT
Create stronger pathways for Carson’s young people through education, mentorship, workforce development, leadership opportunities, recreation, and career preparation.
2. PUBLIC SAFETY
Work toward safer neighborhoods, parks, businesses, and public spaces through strong community partnerships, effective public-safety strategies, and responsive local leadership.
3. SENIORS & FAMILIES
Support Carson families and seniors by strengthening access to community resources, programs, recreation, and opportunities that help residents thrive.
4. ECONOMIC & WORKFORCE OPPORTUNITY
Build partnerships that connect Carson residents with jobs, training, small-business opportunities, technology, healthcare, aviation, and the emerging opportunities surrounding LA28.
5. COMMUNITY & QUALITY OF LIFE
Protect what makes Carson home by supporting clean neighborhoods, strong parks and recreation, responsible growth, vibrant community spaces, and meaningful resident engagement.
