Why I'm Running

I didn't decide to run for City Council because of politics. I decided to run because I've spent my life serving people.

For years, I've had the privilege of working in Carson's schools, mentoring students, coaching our youth, partnering with families, and helping young people discover their potential. I've seen firsthand the hopes our residents have for their children, and I've also seen the challenges many families face every day. Those experiences have shaped my belief that leadership begins by listening, serving, and showing up for your community.

My career has always been centered on helping others. Whether working with students, developing youth programs, leading nonprofit organizations, or building partnerships that create opportunities, my mission has remained the same: improve lives and strengthen communities.

I'm running because I believe Carson's greatest days are still ahead of us.

Our city has incredible people, a proud history, and unlimited potential. But we also have opportunities to improve public safety, strengthen our neighborhoods, support local businesses, invest in our young people, and build a City Hall that is more transparent, responsive, and accountable to the people it serves.

The world will be watching our region during the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, creating a once-in-a-generation opportunity for Carson to showcase who we are. We should be preparing now—not just to welcome visitors, but to create lasting opportunities for our residents through economic development, workforce training, tourism, infrastructure improvements, and community pride.

I want Carson to become a model city that others look to for innovation, collaboration, and community-driven leadership. We have the opportunity to build a city that is safer, smarter, cleaner, and more connected—a city where businesses want to invest, families want to live, and young people want to build their futures.

My vision is to help make Carson the flagship city for innovation, opportunity, and quality of life —not only in California, but across the nation.

This campaign is built on five priorities:

• Public Safety

• Youth Development

• Economic Development

• Human Services

• Government Affairs

These aren't just campaign promises. They are commitments to solving problems, creating opportunities, and delivering results.

I believe leadership isn't measured by titles—it's measured by service. Throughout my career, I've worked alongside residents, students, educators, nonprofit leaders, businesses, and community partners to make a difference. Now I'm asking for the opportunity to serve Carson in an even greater capacity.

Together, we can build safer neighborhoods, stronger families, thriving businesses, and a City Hall that truly works for the people.

This campaign isn't about me.
It's about us.
It's about believing that Carson's best days are still ahead.
It's about creating a future our children will be proud to inherit.
And it's about making sure District 2 has the leadership it deserves.
